what we do

We believe that education produces empowerment, and that empowerment cultivates hope.

our Philosophy at The Terrain Life

Education. Empowerment. Hope.

Cultivating health using a
whole person approach.

Like most cancer patients, I thought I was "healthy" until I got cancer. I was doing it "all right!" Eight years, and two cancer journeys later, I knew that there must be a better way!

This search led me to two things: the terrain theory of health and the metabolic theory of cancer. I threw myself into learning everything that I could through courses, higher education, and direct mentorships from my health heroes in the field to navigate my way through my own health journey which quickly grew into me mentoring others.

After helping hundreds of others navigate their health journey through 1-on-1 consulting, and peer-to-peer mentorship, it was obvious that it was time to cultivate a team to help sow the seed of hope. From this need for a better way, The Terrain Life has grown.

where my hope comes from

The mission behind The Terrain Life is to help you become the CEO of your health through education, empowerment, and hope!

We are here to help you through 1-on-1 consulting, online resources, and self-advocacy courses to remove fear through education which will empower you to make health decisions that are rooted in hope!

The mission behind The Terrain life

Although my two-time cancer journey has certainly left an impact on my life, what has influenced me the most were the three years that I went misdiagnosed by my conventional team, and the undeniable need for educated self-advocacy once I was properly diagnosed.

Without proper education and tools, it is impossible to navigate a health journey without making impulsive decisions that are rooted in fear. This rush into action often produces poor outcomes.

I did things differently, and it caught on quickly! Everyone began to ask what I was doing. My answer was simple:  I did not change any one thing that made my journey different. I approached my health journey with a terrain-centric approach, paired with conventional treatment, to build health and resilience throughout my cancer journey.

I call it, "The Terrain Life!"
